From Innovation to Governance: Aligning AI Delivery with ISO 42001

Thursday | Duration 120 minutes

Almost every organization today claims to have “adopted AI.” But has the technology truly become part of daily business operations or is it still just a concept?

According to McKinsey & Company (2024), 92% of companies plan to increase their investment in AI over the next three years. However, a recent report from Boston Consulting Group (BCG, 2024) reveals that only 4% of companies have successfully developed AI capabilities across functions and generated significant business value. In fact, 74% of companies still have not seen tangible benefits from their AI initiatives.

This shows that the main challenge is not only about technology, but also about governance and organizational readiness. Who is accountable when AI makes a wrong decision? How can companies ensure their AI systems remain compliant, protect reputation, and still drive innovation?

Many organizations still lack a clear framework and governance structure for AI even though their employees are already actively using the technology every day. This is where ISO/IEC 42001 plays a crucial role: helping organizations build structured, auditable, and trustworthy AI governance without slowing down digital transformation.

Want to learn how to build AI governance that satisfies management, regulators, and clients without holding back innovation?
